Shimmy Y. Messing, Partner
Shimmy has over ten years of experience in the litigation support industry. Prior to Responsive Data Solutions, Shimmy was the Director of Operations, Electronic Services for Merrill Corporation. A proven manager of people, processes and technology, his ability to seamlessly integrate all three resulted in his being a leading force behind the international Merrill Legal Services Division. Shimmy started Merrill’s Electronic Services Division in 2003 from scratch and grew it to over five million dollars in annual revenues.
Shimmy earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems at Towson University in Maryland. He is a Dataflight Certified trainer, Ringtail certified, and is proficient in most major litigation support applications. He is an editorial board member and contributing author of Litigation Support Today, a controlled circulated publication distributed quarterly to qualified litigation support professionals, legal assistants/paralegals, courtroom technology specialists and other legal support staff.
Shimmy lives in Baltimore, Maryland where he resides with his wife and three children.
Troy S. Chisholm, Partner
Troy has more than twenty three years of experience in the litigation support industry. An accomplished business strategist and marketer, his vision and expertise in this industry have driven notable growth and profit in the Washington DC market. Prior to Responsive Data Solutions, Troy was General Manager for Merrill Corporation’s Washington, DC office from 2001 - 2007.
Offering a blend of creative and operational strengths, Troy has achieved outstanding company benchmarks and was recognized for his success in growing sales and profits. His strategic approach to building a business is reflected in his prior work experience as Operations Manager at Merrill’s Boston Facility. His concept and focus on production process and flow, quickly delivered impressive results. After joining Merrill in 1998, he drove monthly revenue numbers from an average of $250,000 to over $500,000. His turnaround capability is highlighted by his accomplishment as Operations Manager with Pitney Bowes at Wilmer Hale Boston. He led a distressed facility to record profitability through major shifts in standardized procedures, strong operations and quality control.
Troy also had significant impact on profitability and growth at Pitney Bowes Management Services, Ameriscribe and ADR in various management roles starting in 1985 through 1998.
Troy Chisholm’s exceptional track record of business improvement is based on his philosophy and commitment to engagement in change. He is known for his ability to quickly identify and diagnose sales and growth impediments that go far beyond marketing. Troy works with clients to improve customer satisfaction, understand our product lines, sales channels, and market position.
Troy lives in Northern Virginia where he resides with his wife and two children.
Jeffrey B. Davall, Partner
Jeff has over fifteen years of litigation technology experience. Jeff manages complex, high profile litigations involving the integration of paper and electronic discovery into web based repository databases. He has expertise in numerous litigation support database systems, including Summation, Concordance, and Introspect.
Prior to Responsive Data Solutions, Jeff was Director of Client Services for Merrill Corporation. Prior to that, Jeff worked as a Project Manager for Aspen Systems Corporation (Now Lockheed Martin), a Department of Justice contractor for the Mega 2 contract. Davall was also a Litigation Support Project Manager for Uniscribe, where he managed multi-city document discovery and data capture, coding, imaging and repository services. Most recently Jeff has been involved with selling and managing large volume litigation support projects and has achieved 1.2 million in annual sales. Additionally Jeff has forged relationships in India and currently manages multiple relationships with outsourcing technology vendors.
Jeff lives in Annapolis, Maryland where he resides with his wife and three children.
Keegan E. Meacham, Partner
Keegan has over twelve years of experience working with law firms and corporate legal departments in support of their litigation services. Prior to Responsive Data Solutions, Keegan was Director of Business Development for Merrill Corporation where he was one of the top producing account executives across the country. As Director, Keegan lead a sales team that produced over 8 million dollars in annual revenue. Through a customer service first approach, he has been able to develop and maintain a close working relationship with some of the largest law firms in the country.
Prior to Merrill, Keegan worked for Ikon Legal Document Services. Keegan is a graduate of Loyola College in Baltimore Maryland.
Keegan lives in Baltimore, Maryland where he resides with his wife and two sons.
Susan Stone, Director of Hosting and EDD Services
Susan Stone joined ResponsiveData Solutions in December 2011. Susan has over 10 years of experience in the litigation support industry and has a proven record of leadership and management of complex litigations. Prior to joining Responsive Data Solutions she was the Litigation Support Supervisor for Miller & Chevalier and the East Coast Regional Coordinator for McDermott Will & Emery overseeing all staff and litigation support requirements for the firms east coast offices. Prior to her experience in litigation support she worked on McDermott’s help desk and within the network operations department. This experience allowed her to use her knowledge of computer and network operations in assisting attorneys and their clients with the EDRM life cycle. Susan has directly managed many large-scale discovery cases to include numerous patent litigations, various government investigations, and internal client investigations.
